In these guys I'm very concerned with getting a variety of browns made from mixing colors and otherwise having minimal bright colors while still trying to look eye-catching. I'm not entirely sure if I'm done, but I'm at the point where every attempt to improve the models damages something I painted earlier, so I'm putting them aside for now.
As always, C&C is welcome.
simple, clean, well painted, nice washes, even all around... rep
Very well done! My only concern is the lack of variety in the colours, as you mentioned a little bit. I feel like the wood of their spears could be done darker/redder to provide a bit more of a contrast than it currently does, since it currently is a similar tone to their skin or other details on the models.
Keep it up!
They look really good, I agree that you should darken the spears.
When I first looked I thought, too plain, not finished, but the more I look the more natural and realistic they seem, nice work, I really like these!
