I like it- I dig the red ribs but what's with the white shoulder- it looks wrong.
Up, up and away!
The white is actually a bit darker than that. More of a grey..But the glare from the flash screwed it up. And the flash had to be there as I was taking them at 2am......Not much light there.
Firstly, you should NEVER take a picture of a mini using flash; it just ruins the paint job. As you can see here. It looks good, however, the red could do with shading and highlighting - that said, the flash could have washed these out. I also think the shadows on the tabard between his legs are a little dark, and it could do with text. Otherwise he looks pretty good.
i agree the red needs highlights (if there aren't some already), and WHERE'S HIS BACKPACK!?!?!!?
other than that i like the model a lot, quite original and overall a nice look
The only thing I could think of is maybe make the recessed bands of the Crozius a little darker to make it stand out. Also, finish up the bottom jaw on the helmet like danjones pointed out. He does look odd without the backpack though.
What colors did you highlight the armor with? It looks like shadow gray and space wolves gray.
The backpack was left at GW so i couldn't include it in the picture. It was a custom model. And the armour was highlighted with 50-50 Chaos Black - Adeptus Battlegrey and then pure Adeptus.
And I never realised I missed the jaw. o__O
I'll just get take it back when he's not looking and finish it. =]
