Welcome to Librarium Online!
My current theme is a purple/green.
Leviathan purple wash.
Scorpion green ribcage and eyes.
Then Burnished gold chest glyph background with purple glyph.
Burnished gold on the shoulders, which are liche purple.
I'm not sure what color and style to the gun and the head. The head in this picture is gold, but I'm not digging it as much as I hoped. I tried to do an all white Immortal style head, and I just didn't enjoy it like I expected.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I think you've crossed the border from seks and you're headed for win.
If your theme is green and purple, then I think it should be more prominent. At the moment, your theme looks to be gold and silver. The purple shoulder blades look slightly odd and out of place, in my opinion.
People tend to forget that Necrons don't have to be silver. I have seen some amazing looking armies painted in non metal paints. That said, I'm not sure all purple would suit. I can see you've washed the silver with purple, it cannot be seen that well from the picture. The head would perhaps be better off silver, the gold just stands out too much.
I disagree. Your theme appears to be Purple and gold with highlights of green. The pictures are blurry and it just makes it look like the body is silver. I can tell it's purple.
The pictures do not show the painting as it is. They were taken with my phone underneath a florescent light. The entire premise of the model's template is the metallic purple. So removing the metallic paint from the scheme would pretty much ruin the entire plan for the army. You cannot tell that the model is silver if you look at it in person, it is very obviously tinted purple.
The green is much more prominent from different angles, because the recesses in the rib cage, eyes, and (soon) parts of the gun are all green. I represented the green wrong by saying that it was a main part of the theme, it is more of a gauss highlight.
The gold is closer to being part of the major theme of the model. Almost a Soul Drinkers style. I'm probably going to end up painting the gun purple too.
I appreciate the CC on painting the head, but I actually was trying to make something that stood out from the model. And I was actually looking for more ideas on where to go from here, not so much of a debate about what the colors actually are.
Personally I reckon it looks pretty good as it is...you've almost used the same colour scheme that I'm planning on using...I will be going with orange instead of green, and more solid purple areas.

Looks like a solid scheme to me. Maybe do a finished version so we can see the whole thing and how you want it to look. I agree that the gold head is a little strange, and perhaps look into spreading the dark purple to more spots, get a little more contrast in there.
The color scheme is different and better then the usual colors often done. For the rods you can look into clear rods and either tinting them with what ever color you want.
