my ogre tribe gets a makeover

I'll be reworking my entire OK army to a higher standard. Here's an ogre who's already received his makeover next to his cousin who hasn't. I think the difference is worth it.

Arisen Devil, I'm sorry, but I can't see the difference between the two, can you elaborate?

ah , you see the one on the right is just one of his old ogres and the one on the left is one of his old ogres with shading and Highlighting if im correct.

I was going to say the same thing. The one on the left looks slightly better IMO because of the additional detail, but honestly they both look pretty good.

It's actually quite easy: some friends finally convinced me to use the citadel washes. So I used a wash of ogryn flesh over the old skin, and afterwards highlighted with tallarn flesh - it came out much better then I expected

Looks great to me, amazing how much of a difference a simple wash and rehighlight can do . It's most obvious around the nipples and on the arm muscles of the side-on pictures, for anyone who can't see it. It's a simple yet highly effective upgrade, good job .

VERY impressive! Great job! and this is actually the first time I have seen ogres with actually flesh coloured skin! The majority of the ones I've seen have light yellow to a mid-range grey or darker..

I give you a bonus for originality!

looks like he got a tan, but it's a noticable difference. The updated model looks good. GJ
