    Using Ink

    Can someone please explain to me the proper method for using inks. thanks in advance

    GW has stopped producing and selling inks and instead make washes. The only difference is that the washes are watered down making them a lot easier to use. The idea is that they add a slight shade to whatever surface you're painting, coloring the crevasses and adding more depth to the model.

    All you do is brush the washes over the surface, they're very easy to use and add a great look to the model.
    The only constant in the universe is change, adapt or die.

    One can still purchase inks from other sources....As for the use of inks, I'm not certain myself..
    Just felt the need to correct the misconception that since GW doesn't do inks anymore, there are none.

    To make an attempt at being helpful, though, I think I saw an 'inks' tutorial in the Guides/Tutorials section of the forum.
