    Sandbags on a CD

Using some old modelling clay and an even older CD, I made a sandbag emplacement for a Heavy Weapons team. I used a magnetic paint undercoat so the magnetized minis would stay in place while they were on it.

    Method used: Terrain on CD

As posted on Dakka Dakka, they need to be a little smaller and flatter. Those look like really full sandbags. A real sandbag is only filled half way so that it can settle and mold with the other bags and interlock.

Quod Erod Demonstrandum. They look more like bricks. Great idea, but bricky. Like they're sitting at the base of a large stone tower that's fallen into disrepair.
Okay, so now I have no signature. Great.

Yes flatter is the way to go for the next one.

I could redo the paint job to look like stones and go for a "Bretonnina Ruin" look. Thanks for the feedback.
