Hello again buddies here i shall tell the tale of a dwarf thane i painted.
so i felt like painting something awesome to test my new testors dullcoat (paint on)
and my friends had bought a few skull pass boxes becuase they were doing dwarf and goblin armies, so a thane it was. i took my time and did a briliant job and was almost not going to dull coat it but did anyway. after wards it looks great maybe best model i had painted before. after a while it got put with the rest of the dwarfs and in some box so tonight found it, YAY!
The real drama is photo taking. so i took some pics...in my room withought the light, though i expected it to be bad and i know the pictures i post later will still not do it justice, here are some sneak peeks....also i wish the camera was more forgiving on models but major flash does no justice.
so long rant about mostly nothing here are my bad pics wich will soon be joind by decent pics to give some justice to one of my best models
It looks like you have used flash when taking the photos. That's the worst thing you can do when photographing models up close.
I recommend placing a strong, clear light lamp behind your camera and direct it at the model, then taking pics with the 'macro' setting on, which ensures that it will focus on the stuff close to the lens.
However, I must say that I like the look of the bronze, from what I can see. I'm looking forward to better pictures.
the pics were taken at around 2 30 am and i had no lights on(roomate asleep) so yes flash was there, should see the other pics o.O
