*gasp, shock, DMC posting pics of painted models etc.*
But indeed I am! Last time I did it was in.... July. Awww...
But I have finally gotten around to finish what I started back in March, a Morat infantryman from the game Infinity.
I opted for an alternative scheme than the space baboons of death that Corvus Belli paints them like (see here for reference) and I must say that the advice offered by a few eFriends really payed off (thanks, guys!).
I especially like how the purple turned out.
So, without further excuses, here's the model.

Kinda looks unfinished with the black gun (it is a bolter right?). I can't see anything except his pantaloons and face of which I'm hugely impressed.
I'm inclined to believe the problem lies in the white background you've photographed the model on. It tends to create huge light/dark contrasts and obscures detail.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
One always lies, one always tells the truth, and one stabs people who ask tricky questions.
Yeah, a bolter. Right...
Actually, the metal is just dark. You can zoom up the pics by clicking on them. On my monitor you can see the armour and gun very well, although I'm inclined to agree that the background is poop. I seem to have run out of clear, white paper...
Thanks for the comment.
I've seen a few Infinity models floating around the tubes lately and they look interesting. The purple and yellow are nicely done and while the dark green looks a bit flat I'm willing to bet the photo washed out the highlights.
Are there going to be more of these guys?
It's either one of these two, this guy or this little fella.
Revoltingly nicely painted, if i could still neg-rep you, i would.
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

Yeah I'm tempted to paint the Rasyat... It's such a cool model!
At first I was stunned... you paint? Nah, this couldn't be... Then I saw the pic and I thought more like... oh, wow. It's not often I say "Now, that's a beautiful baboon!" but this is one of them rare cases
I really like your choice of colours and I am impressed by the level of your paintjob.
Regarding the darkness of the green details, I think it's more to do with the picture itself rather than the model.
So I took the liberty of changing the levels of the pic and all them green shades popped.
