I, like probably most chaos player are a little possessed by the chaos gods myself and was just wondering if it was possible to get a thread where people can post up the sort of things they would like to see painted on the side of a land raider or other vehicle of the dark gods.
There are a few of course from the books and codices but I'm looking for a more outward source, such as music or poems.
A few I have picked up that feel right to me are :
"Hell is empty, the devils are here."
"The deceased and forgotten, The voiceless and consumed.
We're buried and broken, And we're rising against you." although a little long, I would say perfectly sums up the chaos space marines feelings towards their dictator emperor.
EDIT: and one last one, "Fear me for I am death"
So this is the idea guys! Hit me with your best shot and be sure to post any pics of interesting litanies you've seen around!

on a band T-shirt i have (Cradle of Filth) -
It says "hell was empty so i came back"
Maybe we could mess around with that and change a few words around....
"the eye was empty so we came back"
that could be really interesting...
My homage to my time spent at Libararium Online:
I'm all for changing words around to make it fit better in to the 40k universe, but to be honest, I like the word hell there more because its something everyone can relate to and is more of a damnation zone for the retched and ruined, where as the eye of terror is ONLY the psyhical representation of the same word if you get my drift.
Plus, the eye of terror is not empty. And that's a fact. (well fictionally speaking, anyway)
So I'd say something like the one on that shirt..
-Hell was full, so we're still here
-Even Hell rejected us
And when you think about it, Hell and the Devil aren't really the 'evil' part of this world.
I know that I'm bordering on philosophy and religion here, but think about it.
Good people go to Heaven to be in peace.
Evil people go to Hell to be punished for all eternity.
Think about that for a second.
Hell is a place where bad people get punished.
It's like a jail.
In the real world, Jail is backed up by the law and good.
So Hell is really a place where the evil are kept away from the good, and the Devil is the Warden.
So if you think about it philosophically, The real world is where the Evil really is.
Maybe stream on from that?
Good points raised, but I wanted a little more emphasis on the actual saying and not on the construction of the phrases themselves. But its definately appreciated to show interest of course.
Well when you think about the process of the making the phrase, you'll have a bigger chance to smooth out any flaws that anyone can spot and question you about afterwards.
I've had people question my decisions alot and it gets annoying explaining it to so many people. So now I try to make things as easy as possible to understand to avoid confusion and unnecessary effort to explain.
Personally, if you went with "hell was empty so i came back", and I saw this finished land raider, I would actually raise the question that I have mentioned in my previous post.
And I know some who would also.

Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
