I completed a Warlock for my Saim-Hann army ( (Mayor Quimby's Saim-Hann army WIP)link to WIP thread), which will join my Wraithguards unit (link to thread).
At first, I wanted to buy a Warlock model, but since I used almost all the Warlock models for my Jetbikes units, and I have a ton of bits laying in my bits box, I decided to make my own model using random bits... lower body from a Warlock, head from a Black Guardian, left arm from a Banshee, torso, spear arm, and shuriken pistol from a Dire Avenger Exarch.
You can find another pic here.
Overall, I am quite pleased of the final result. Maybe I should have removed the "eye" glyph from the head, since it is not 100% fluffy.
As always, tips, feedback and constructive criticism are strongly encouraged!
Mayor excelent painting... wonderful! Nice terrain base... the gems... everything!
I really like the cream you have produced and the red with the highlights...
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
ooooh i gotta say i really like it and i love what you've done with the base
X.O. Spin Up The F.T.L. Drive!
The painting is awesomely crisp and clean and nice conversion too. Love the use of the wraithlord terrain piece as well on the base
WIP tau project coming soon.
Again, your minis are a pleasure to look up. A simple looking conversion but it makes for a drastic new look and unique mini, kudos there. I cannot fault the painting, it looks as good as ever. Keep up the great work.
I think...yes. I think you deserve some rarely given dwarf rep.
I don't often browse through painting, but whenever I see one of your threads I always venture in. Your minis are just too good to miss.
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.

Very cool conversion I must say and the paintjob is very vibrant and effective.
The only thing I would comment on is perhaps the hair, which blends in with the robe and armour a bit much IMO.
Thank you everybody for your comments and feedback... keep them coming!
@ Da Mighty Camel - I agree with you, the hair blends maybe too much with robe and armor... I painted the hair red (instead of blue) because the Warlock will join my Wraithguard unit (which are painted using just red and bone). I didn't want the blue hair to attract too much attention.
@ King Ulrik Flamebeard - thank you a lot for the "heavy" rep !
Amazing! Only word to describe it! Your painting is amazing! I love the colour, the detail and the shading, it all works really well! Very jelous...
