I have finally finished my Black Guard unit, as well as my sorceress and assassin. I am not too happy with the way the conjured magic swirls of my sorceress came out, but I will grow used to it.
At the moment, I am busy painting my Hydra.
My other painted DE can be viewed here: Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
Unusual colour scheme for DE, but very nice!
Currently painting the Waaagh! of Warboss Borboss - Goff and Evil Sunz warband
Wow, that is incredibly unusual and attractive for dark elves. The sorceress herself is lovely, worthy of any player the swirls are quite awkward to paint well, I've heard there is a lot of bemoaning painting them, you've done a really good job, bring on the Hydra!
WOW the yellow is awesome
WOW, these are just awesome, beautiful yellow, what's the recipe for it?
Nice job on the yellow's. By chance did you see how Joe Sleboda (a GW worker) painted his dark elves. His also used a predominately yellow color scheme. He showcased a few of them in a couple of White Dwarves a few years back and also showed a step by step of how to paint his in the previous edition of "How to Paint Citadel Miniatures".
Anyways, I think yours are better. The sorceress is awesome and the glyphs on the banner bearer and they drum on the musician look fantastic. Keep up the good work.
