Hey, we are starting inquisitor at my local GW and i was wondering whether anyone had ideas on how to convert a team of stealthsuits for 54mm scale (the manager is insisting that if we do it we do it properly...which is fine it looks better anyway)..i like the idea of a black ops stealth team so i was wondering...any ideas...please help
From the Eastern-Empire site, this WIP of a Stealth Crisis Suit could be a place to start.

thats cool.....i may have to try that.....i also have another idea....to convert 4 models....an earth caste, air caste, water caste, and fire caste....it would be the ultimate team (and background wise it would make sense, the weapons specialist, emissary, black ops and air caste(not sure about this yet)) any ideas?
Aren't stealth suits a bit overkill in Inquisitor? And why a stealth? I mean, Inq. is a game focusing on the actions of Inquisitors and their retinues and xenos never really take a big role in the game. I don't know of the campaign you will be playing so it might be plausible, but last time I played it I played a defecting IG colonel who was escorted by a Tau covert ops.-dude, and that was a normal fire warrior which was just about enough.
I'm interested in hearing about your campaign though.
Stealth suits are more for hit-and-run attacks and sabotage missions against the enemies supply lines and are quite big and powerful for Inq-games, with their power armour, stealth systems, burst cannon and jetpacks. They are comparable to marines and a good rule I have heard a lot of time is a max of one marine per campaign, unless you have a pretty funky storyline.
well, we are running one powerful campaign (i.e. the stealth suits) and one normal campaign (the four cast members) so any ideas on models to convert for the caste mambers?
i am buying the water caste model off the manager, i am going to use a converted vespid and a kroot mecenary (the actual model) and either a converted fire warrior (from the eversor assassin) and a remora drone or 2 remora drones.
Puppet_master the Air Caste member would probably be the Pilot/Driver
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
cool, any ideas on other (perhaps easier) ways to convert fire warriors
