So, I've decided I'd like to have a bit of fun with my Tzeentch Daemons army and do a series of models for the Changling. For those not familiar with his fluff, he's a shapeshifte that's so good that he's forgotten his original form - known only to Tzeentch himself. Further, he tends to use this ability as a bit of a prankster.
As such, I'm looking for humorous and/or mocking ideas for each army my Daemons could face. As an example, I was thinking that, for my Imperial Guard opponents, I would convert a large Ork to have a human arm.
A series like this could be fun. I'd like to get your ideas for other armies - what do you all think would be appropriate?
Sounds good. Perhaps you could paint one aspect of each model the same way on each model to link it together. Like they would all have glowy blue eyes or something.
To mock 'nids, do a conversion with a warrior or something so that it has a lasgun/bolter or something.
To mock daemonhunters, give a grey knight an arm of a tzeentchian horror. "Nooo, a grey knight has fallen to Chaos. That's never happened before! We're all DOOOMMMEEDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A rep to you for thinking of this, man.
Space Marines- The ultimate representation of 'Bros before Hoes'
I know I've posted him before, but what about his bloodbowl cheerleader when facing guard,
You want to demoralize a guard army, well one of their commissars growing three breasts, donning a crop top,and goose stepping up and down the ranks while waving a doll and wagging his alien tail, that may work...
That bloodbowl cheerleader is hillarious.
Grey Knights + Chaos Spawn sprue could be a lot of fun... so many utterly random bits. I like it.
For the Eldar you could always make one out of an avatar. That could make for a very humorous model. A local chaos guy used the avatar in one of his chaos spawn and it pissed off a couple of the eldar players.
Most importantly, have fun with it. Don't try to please everyone and just make it quirky and strange.
However, I do agree with previous posters that they should all have a linking element.
