Welcome to Librarium Online!
Could anyone help me find a link to a guide to uploading pics pls, i have taken some acceptable pics already but need to know how to upload them properly.
I have made some good progress due mainly to the amazingly helpful guys here on LO and i would like to repay you with evidence.
make a photobucket.com account (its free) upload your photos when your done each photo has a tag copy and past the BB/Forum tag to the message you are posting
I don't think there is a guide per se, so I'll tell you what i do.
First, I take my photo of the model with a Day-light bulb (preferably with some daylight too) on a background of white paper.
Make sure you rest the camera on a steady surface and you are close up with the Macro (looks like a little flower) mode on.
Then I put the photo on my PC.
I then use MS Office Picture Manager (or equivalent free software) and crop and 'auto correct' the photo.
Then I go to photobucket and upload it there. If you aren't already a member, it takes a second and it is free to register.
During the upload process, choose the option that resizes the photo to less than 700px wide, I think there's an option for 600px wide. If you can't see it, don't worry PB lets you resize later if you want. It also lets you crop and change the colouring too if you don't have the software mentioned earlier.
Then you copy the link to the photo in your album and you paste it here surrounded by the ends.
Par example avec un petit additione a la photoshop.
