Here are some WIPS of my Slaanesh Sonic Predator.
All the sonic weapons are mods from regular predator weapons.
I built up on them with plastic shapes and green stuff for the "mouths"
the side exhausts are custom, made from sheet styrene, green stuff and a defiler head.
I made 1 good one, then cast it 4 times to build up all of them.
The torture victim on the front is my favorite part. The concept is that my EC would capture loyalists in the field,
strap them to the front hulls, keep them alive on drugs and force them to watch their brethren get slaughtered.
Also, side note. I choose to use spare Imperial Guard tracks instead of the standard rhino tracks for this tank.
I figured a chaos tank would not want to have Aquila tracks all on it.
Hope you guys like it!
I love it!
The sonic weapons really make this thing. Reminds me of the sonic dread from Forge World. Very well done!
The only real quibble I can see is the marine. The posture is fine, but it seems a little weird to have his legs chopped off, and it doesn't look (at least from the pictures) like he's attached to the pred with anything. Some straps or bars would go a long way toward completing the image.
Otherwise, nice job!
Is he meant to be the driver? If so, cool, if not, cool.
Oh, and that predator is the best thing ever. I'm lost for words.
As I my self just started a Slaanesh army I think that is freaken sweet now show us it again once it's painted
If you do things right people wont be sure if you have done anything at all.
I like! Some nice greenstuff and plasticard work combined with some clever use of (presumably) leftovers from the chaos vehicle sprue. Nice how the guns match the GW and FW ones - I'm assuming you'd use the Autocannon and Heavy Bolter stats for the turret and sponsons in a normal game?
I like the guy on the front and the matching fluff - inventive, and I can see the EC doing this sort of thing (evil, twisted and sadistic cretaures that they are). By the way Canew, the marine IS attached to the Pred - some kind of Dark Mechanicus stim-injector-clamping devices are jammed into the stumps of his legs, securing him to the tank and helpfully preventing blood-loss while keeping him conscious, so he can watch the ongoing massacre of his fellow battle-brothers. Like I said, evil, twisted and sadistic (but with a fondness for pink...)
If green power armour is good enough for the Fallen One, then its good enough for the rest of us...
Wow, this is an amazing looking Predator. It looks like a FW model in that you've put so much detail into it. Each photo shows something nice about the tank.
The work on the exhaust i really like as well as the front part. As someone mentioned, is he suppose to be the driver or just a scenic front?
Very nice work, can't wait to see this thing painted.

Wow this things looks amazing, having done little more then poke some holes in some marines and adding some slime i cant even conceive how you pulled it off.
Alot of people seem to think your tortured victim might be the driver... hmm... well it kinda works for chaos but you chould add chains or something to drive the point home (chains are easy to make out out of almost anything). then again painting him up in ultramarine colors and signia whould probly take care of that to.

Could you understand the beauty of the beast?
Well done, I have to say my favorite touch is the tortured marine, perfect little touch for the EC. Bastards that they are!

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
In answer to the driver question.
When the tank is painted up, the torture victim will obv, be painted with a loyalist scheme.
I have 2 rhinos both with dif. torture victims on them as well.
All of them will be very obv. loyalists when painted.
The conversion work is clean, this will look stunning once painted.
