Hello all im in the middle of buying my VC army and was planning on doing a winter theme. I was also wondering how to paint frozen undead flesh (mostly for my ghouls, varg, and vamps) or if you have any pics that could help. Thanks in advance
Are you talking about an icy blue color or are you talking about frozen flesh?... For the latter I wouldn't think there would be much of a color difference but you could add a touch of snow here or there for "freezer" burn or ice... LOL
Clarify what you are looking for and you will probably get better help.
here is a pic i found of what im looking to try and replicate.
unfortunatly it does not show up as good on the forums but from what i can tell it looks to have some sort of a dark undercoat like a bluewith lighter drybrush layers starting from grey to white on top. but basicaly im looking for a frozen flesh / severe frostbite kind of look.

Spray white wash blue highlight spacewolves gray
Daemonic cheese-how? Well, you would need to start with daemonic milk, i guess...
The skin looks grey in your example. There is a dark grey in the GW foundation paints... Maybe wash with badab black and highlight up from there with the various lighter greys...
You can maybe mix brown and purple ink to get a more interesting glaze.
on the grosser side of things if you look at severe frostbite (you don't want to really) the skin will yellow like a bruise and finally turn blackened brown when the skin/area dies. All the little bits on the body blacken first (fingers, ears, nose, etc) then the yellow bruising moves away from that and finally a normal pastey blued frozen skin tone.
Obviously a very different and more difficult scheme, but that's what I pictured from the title. Would be pretty cool.
