Hey folks, I'm in need of a few ideas to make a decent combat servitor for my recently converted Inquisitor, seeing as the Corteaz set only comes with a Gun servitor (bah.)
Any ideas will be appreciated. I'm thinking something along the lines of using Catachan legs, arms and Torso, 'gaumless' zombie head with a green stuffed mask. Tubing and the likes will be coming out of the chest and so on. I need ideas for the actual weapon arm, possibly a servo arm??
The way I made the power fist for my old servitor ( hes on tank tracks! ) had a catachan arm. I cut the hand off and put half of a chainsword there. I then used greenstuff to make wires, bits of flesh etc to make it look like his hand had had the chop and in replace he had a chainsword wired ti his arm. I made it look more wiery and more powerful.
I like the tracks idea, I'm sure I've got some spare Ork Warbike tracks lying about somewhere. Instead of the chainsword, perhaps the 'claw' of the servo arm and re-enforcing his arm with pistons and the like?Originally posted by biker sergeant@Jul 18 2004, 14:47

I replaced the entire right arm of a modell w. an old multi melta... It looks quite intimidating. I used green stuff and some real wires to fill the holes and to add the "built-in" effect for the modell. I connected the head and the weapon w some extra wires as well.
Now I am working on a guy, who has his head replaced w. a flamer...

Please do not get annoyed on my spelling: i am not a native speaker...
Try the arms from pit slaves in Necromunda for weapons.
There's a great site with converted servitors with servoskull heads, but I can't find the url right now. Check the Conversion forum for a servitor thread I started a few months ago.
Ork powerclaws would work great! Just stick some purity seals onto them!
And remember that the servitor doesn't have to have cybernetic weapons, all he needs is some bionics and psychic surgery, and he would do great with a couple of chainswords or lightning claws..
Another idea would be the techpriest 'tentacles', just stick some sharp stuff to the ends of them!
Ave Dominus Nox!
Well, I was a cheap little bugger, and used and Enginseer.
All I did was attached the Servo-Arm directly onto his back, instead of putting the backpack on.
If a tree falls in the forest, and it lands on a mime, does anyone care?
The Iron Hand's alternate arm sprue works good - it's full of spikes and saws and other such things on mechanical arms. Good to attach to wherever on the model - head, arms, hands, just sticking out of his chest, whatever.
