just one of my many random things. Do you think it's any good?
It looks good but you should try water effects on the blood. If you dont have water effects then just use watered down pva glue. I'm not sure if the stuff in the corner is lava and if it is there are some great tuts on bolter and chainsword on how to paint and model lava.
To the SM... dude whats up with your leg?
Same for the kroot
keep it up
yes. It is ment to be lava in the corner.
SM got mauled by kroot. Kroot got...
Use Water Effects on the lava... it will look great!
For the Blood (what I do - I saw it somewhere and it works wonders!):
Take the Tamiya Clear Red Acrylic Paint and make a mix with Black Ink (Haven't tried yet the Wash...)
Paint freely, as this will be the old dried blood
Then take only the Tamiya CR and paint on top of it (after it dries). That's the fresh blood, not dried yet...
Easy to do and quick and very convincing!
Apart from that I would like more clear photos of the massacre...
I think it looks so good...
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
thanks for the help guys. I'll put some more up to adte pictures soon.
nice man. neat idea.
i would have put a scout in the corner putting some bolts into the fellow on the roof. can make some pretty sweet chest pops for gore and blood splash with green stuff quite easily with a sharp blade and a match stick.. just my 2 c.
thanks nakor. Cool tip but i don't have a scout spare.
As far as I can tell, you have some great ideas. Too bad you have a camera that doesn't work with close-ups.
Do I assume correctly that you use a web camera? I suggest that you try to borrow a ordinary digital camera and put it in macro mode (the little tulip) or even buy one, or at least have one on your wishlist for your next birthday. There are a lot of miniatures out there that don't get their fair share of credit because you can't sort out the details. And from what I can see from the blurry pictures, you should figure out a way of getting one. Your miniatures deserve it!
