I recently purchased a Space Marine Rhino and when i opened it to my surprise two of the sprues were diferent color and another was a different date of manufacturing. Instead of being dark grey, the normal color, these two sprues are a light grey, it seems that the last coat in the production line ran out of or something. Also one of the sprues has a different Gamesworkshop date, it is two year older then the others, the sprues that are the lighter colour don't look as good quailty. What should i do??
I've just started getting into 40k, so I thought that was the norm... All the vehicles I've bought have had sprues of varying color and hardness.

It shouldn't matter. They are just different colors; prime them and voila!, they're the same color.

Older models seem to have a lighter color, I've got plenty of stuff of varying age and color. If the parts are good, just build it. If there is an actual defect then you should call it in.
Older sprue details aren't as good, but GW hasn't updated them to reflect. That sprue you got is the same sprue in all boxes. Make sure you wash the older sprue first, they were more likely to oil up than the newer stuff. Aside from that, once painted, you should be good to go.
Yea i agree with everyone else that posted on this thread. I myself have gotten myself alot of old and new spruces from buying new boxes, or even the old battle forces, i compared the content with the newer ones, specifically the Imperial Guards, just differnet colours, no biggie. Still builds the same and prime the same.
