I have come to a bit of a crossroads with my GK. I started off painting a few of my PAGKS the following
Black Primer then Chainmail, and then Mithril Silver. I like the way they look but think they lack a bit of shine i guess... it just looks silver. I wanted the look that the GW page has of them so I tried to wash them in blue ink and it either came up too blue or not enough. Neither option gave me the look oh reflective metal I was going for.. does anyone have any hints for this?
Nemesis force weapons- I was wondering if anyone had a link to a tutorial on how to make them stand out.. like lightning on them or maybe just a something showing them surging with energy
Was it INK or WASH? I did mien with the new blue WASH from GW and they look really nice. You have to perhaps do some touch-ups after the wash? I will look for some pics of mine...
they actually dont look to bad XD they look like any other grey knight out there(not being mean but hey every1 does em silver thats why i got mine blue XD) the red turned our real nice especcially the storm bolters
Just the way I did mine, except I watered down the wash
armor looks better but whyd you wash the red its looked nice and clean wid the highlights?
oh XD nvm sry for the post i just got confused for a sec XD nice painting no i was jus trying to point out that many people go this route why not stand out XD
