Been putting together my chaos demons army and I wanted to use be'lakor as the keeper of secrets model as a centre piece for my army. I bought micro art studio base so that he would stand out but I need advice on painting it.
this is the model
and this is the base.
My main concern is how to paint the runes? do I just work up from red - orange - yellow - white or would that make it look like fire???
I personally would start with Yellow and build up to red leaving a bright yellow in the deepest cracks. Applying a base coat of white on the base would make working with yellow alot easier and give a crisper look then black.
