Very cool. The highlighting on the blue parts is nice. How did you do the skin? What's your formula?
Awesome man, you've definitely got some skill there. Unfortunately it isn't what I came into the topic to see. I thought the Orks themselves were going to be blue skinned rather than green . But still a really great job.
Beautiful blue and great orc skin. Would be nice to know your formula for orc flesh.
Wonderful Death Skulls... My favorite Ork Clan... and they are painted to an excellent standard!
Keep up the good work! We will be here to comment...
Thanks to all the people showing faith in me
I sometimes feel that everyone will leave me and they will be on their own...
Wow. Just... wow.
Like the others above, I'd like to know your formula for the Ork's skin. It's such a smooth-looking coloration, and the detail on the lower lip of each one really adds a spark of life to them.
The one and only thing that I would have done is to pick out the wires on the Nob's big choppa with some other colors.
Other than that, these boyz are truly beautiful. Much rep!
I build, I convert, I sometimes paint, and once in a while, if I'm really lucky, I might even play.
These guys are beautifully painted, really clean and contrasting to boot. The flesh is really nicely done and the blue stands out nicely =). They capture the Ork spirit perfectly, too.
What is the formula for the skin? I've always been a fan of the darker colourations for ork skin and you certainly execute it marvelously.
im usually not a huge fan of orks, but i really like yours...very clean paintjob which, surprisingly, works really well on orks
chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
They are well done Orks. I think I like the colours you have used here. The work on the other details is good too. Plus, what grubby fingers you have.
