I was Priming my models last night When i discovered that the F@#%ing Paint was hosing down my beloved Chosen squad in Streams, Making it loose it's detail! What the happened last night?
Did i not shake the can enough?
Was it too cold outside?
Was the paint too old?
What in the Devil Happened and how can i avoid this disaster again?
It could be any of those 3, or most likely you might not have been far enough away from the model.
Yes, I did deep-strike your sister...
Necrons : W-8 D-3 L-7 (Sleeping in their TombFoam, waiting for a new codex)
Chaos Forces (CSM/CD): W-42 D-19 L-28
Apocalypse Games : W-4 D-0 L-1 (4 Titans, Brass Scorp, 3 Baneblades, 2 Bombers, 3 Fighters, and a Partrage in a Pear Tree)
It was kinda old. But idefently had the distance right
Cold shouldn't make it do that. Cold makes small bubbles appear and you get this gritty texture to it that eats away the detail.
That said, a couple days soaking in Soylent Gree...er Simple Green, and a toothbrush should go a long way towards cleaning the mess off so you can try again. Make sure you give em a good rinse afterwards to get all the Green off.
the only thing i could think of is a nozel malfunction. i had my only plack primer(krylon primer with the easy spray nozel) get stuck spraying. luckily it didnt affect my priming but i did have to throw it out.
so yeah id say nozel clog or break good luck on your next can!
had you used that can before? If not, you may have just got a bad can. That happens to me every now and then.
