    First Dark Eldar painted (badly)

Yes, my first Dark Eldar units are now painted. These are also the first models I have painted in about 3 years so cut me some slack please.

    Please give me feedback on...

    1. the colour scheme
    2. how to improve the quality
    3. techniques

    thanks.

    slack is cutting

    1.

The scheme is, well monotone. can't say any more than that if that's your thing.
If you can imagine looking at an entire army done in black/white then go right ahead.

    2&3.
    Spray-primer..
it's really good at giving you a foundation to work on.
I'd suggest white, since black covers white easilly, but not really the other way around.
(plus, skull-white can be a chore to get looking smooth painting it on by hand)

Thin your paints a smidge with some water, put some paint in a palette and a small amount of water, a brushfull will do in most cases.
the paint will flow easier without building up humps on the model.

More thinner layers are always better than a few thick ones.
