hey i was just wanting to know what would be the best way to paint a off-white boney colour for my dg i am about to get?
P.S this will be done over a black undercoat.
Normally I'd tell you to use the search, but since it's broken:
There are many ways to paint bone white, some methods are here: Codex Unforgiven. Look under the Deathwing tutorials, just remember to be more sloppy when you paint Death Guard :)
I usually undercoat white, paint bleached bone, ink brown, highlight with bone and then a little white. This gives you any shade of bone you want, from almost brown to slightly off-white.
I think it will probably work over a black undercoat too, although the results may be a little more gray than over white. I haven't tried it myself.
Then there's this site of course: deathguard.org. There aren't any guides that I can find but the pictures are interesting.
yeah i have been to deathguard.org it is good site but like you said no guides... shame really
jeebus ryan, i thought you of all people would know that
