    My First Fantasy Chaos Miniature

So far this is all I've painted for my Chaos army, been lazy
Hope the picture is clear enough

    C&C welcome, thanks!

Note: I purposely kept the bones a little "white", as I intended them to look bleached. I don't fancy brownish/yellowish bones haha

Quite nice I'd say. Bit more shading and highlighting would make it better. The gold rims don't look shiny enough but that's just me.

How do you do the black armor though? Tin Bitz?

Haha well I actually dislike shiny gold for chaos given that they are barbaric and probably don't spend the time to polish their gold.

And the black is black....good to see my shading and highlighting can make a matt color appear metallic XD

Ooo~ nifty. I rather like the not so shiny gold (though it might just be the lighting), gives him more of a battle hardened warrior look than some polished up parade brat.

Now you only need to repeat it, what, almost a hundred times?

I like him. The black is highlighted just enough, and I agree on your comments on the gold. old/worn gold works very well for Chaos. I like, get onto the next few dozens then.

I have to say that the overall scheme is done well, the highlighting of the black armor is not overdone and overpowering. Have you tried dulling down the shine of the gold armor with a brown wash?

Nice work on the black metal. I'm trying to do a similar scheme myself, and yours has given me some ideas on how to do mine. Nice!

Fluff-wise I agree with you on dull gold trims. Personally though, I want them to be as shiny as possible, so hopefully I can distract the enemy player into "ooh, shiiiny" while I set up charges
