Verry good, I would of suggested round 50MM base's but either way.
Yeah I considered giving it a round base but I don't see the point of giving it a more spacious base than it needs... This base works fine IMO...

Incredible work Bobahat! Without using lots of different parts you've made a really original and striking model that fits the fluff perfectly! It's those eyes on the horse that does 90% of the job. I really like this model. I'm not a fan of overdone conversions, they often end up quite ridiculous and undynamical, to many details and too little atmosphere. This is the exact oposite. Can't wait to see an entire squad of them :o

That's pretty damn cool actually.
As for the bases, have you tried gluing together two round bases and using sprue to make the long edges straight? Then you cover the holes in the top with paper and treat it like your other bases. It takes a bit of work, and I'm not sure if the resulting base is long enough for a horse, but they look pretty good and have round edges.
That really is an excellent conversion. I envy your skill.
