Do you think that with dark red as a primary colour, bleached bone would be a good choice as a secondary colour for an eldar army. Any pictures would be great... it would be close to saim hann
You could just paint a test model and see how you like it for yourself.

You'd be fairly close to their scheme.
I would suggest the test model too, completely in agreeance with Mr. Hasad.
As for a picture : Saim Hann
You could always google it (i think it provides a good coloration).
I'm not one to always use citadel paints but i would suggest using space wolves grey, or worst case, fortress grey.... the bleached bone may not give you the color you'd like. And stock up on scorpion green... (gotta love those details)

My eldar are dark red and black and that seems to work well for me. To keep away from the saim-hann go with a realy dark red and bleached bone (not too highlighted so that it looks like actual bone and not white). And I do agree with Jaffar to paint one up yourself!
I think it would work, yes. The red would needs some slight highlighting but it could work very well. I want you to paint a test model and show us how it works out.
Ok, wel my army comes saturday or monday so any time next week il try a test one
It'd look too Chaos for my tastes but I think it'd still be a good looking scheme.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.

yes bleachbone as a secondary to a primary dark red works very well, i use it for my space marine chapter
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
I agree that dark red and bleached bone is a great colour combo. I use it myself for my High Elf army, though admittedly the other way around to you; on most models bleached bone is my 'primary' colour with red gore secondary. On a lot of characters and other high ranking models I tend to use more red than on the regular guys, though I never really planned to do it that way. It helps them to stand out a bit.
I think it would work quite well if you varied the amounts of red and bone on each model depending on what that model is. Some could have more red, and others more bone. That would make for a very effective colour scheme.
In fact, I love red gore so much, not only do I use rather a lot of it on my High Elves, it's also the primary colour of my marine chapter...
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.

i think it will work. im curently painting my friends eldat army for some cash moneys and his scheme is dark orange and bone and looking at the examples of the previous posts it sounds solid with dark red.
i am hooked on bone color right now because of the method we decided to use for his eldar
here is the farseer (i did him lighter orange to make him stand out more)
....though the pick looks darker....
good luck on your army!
