Ok, I was just told there's a painting competition this saturday, so I'm pretty much 3 weeks behind everyone else and I have to work pretty freakin hard. Before anyone says "Where's the Chaos Dragon", CD is Compact Disc for his base. I'm going for a sort of garden look, cobble stone tiles, a little fountain/birdbath, rocks and a couple bushes
Here's a couple pictures
The black squares will be the tiles and the circle thing will be the fountain/birdbath. I've been messing with epoxy and blue paint and found a mixture that looks like clear blue water. The last picture is where Sigvald will be and the direction he's facing. I just did the gluing this morning and have sorts of stuff planned out

If someone helps you REP them...
who is sigvald?
PM me about Aurora Prime Vassal fights! Willing and ready!
He loves himself
That is pretty damn awesome(even though it'll be a shame when a Khorne Lord destroys it )

Very good idea! How are you gonna paint the water? And are you gonna add some waterlillies?
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.

Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.

Oooh this looks awesomafying!
Not only is that an attractive and original base, but you've now given me the idea of cutting up a CD to use as his Mirrorshield. =D
Subscribed and repped.
Ok, well I got some good news and bad news. Good news is I had it primed and ready to go. Bad news is when I started painting it this morning, the ballast slide right off. So for the painting competition I'll have to set this aside for now and just paint a model. I'm not quitting on this, just putting it on pause til after the competition
