    Thunderhawk Gunship?

    Hello all.

Was wondering if anybody had any pictures of a Thunderhawk Gunship that they have created or acquired, and if in the case of you creating it, if you feel like it, could you also post what materials you used, and what you thought of the whole "design" stages of it.

    Cheers,
    Mickem

Ah. Thats pretty cool. What kind of price tags do they throw on large models like a Thunderhawk though? I would of thought the price would be rather hefty?

Yeah.. for that same amount you can get like another 1000-1500 (maybe even 2000) points of additional soldiers to your army haha... or in my case... more soldiers to use in the rare occasion of vs CC crazy people.

Ah well. What can we do about there prices? Nothing. Just as i thought

Thanks though Zemaphore. I might attempt to purchase one later when i find the cash haha.

    Cheers,
    Mickem

Alternatively you could just MAKE one out of plasticard. If you want to go all out ou could make one out of Plasticard and epoxy, then carve all the markings of the original into the epoxy, making a nearly exact duplicate.

Ah yes, good suggestion. Would you know what store types (DIY/Art supplies etc etc) would sell plasticard, and if you know, what price they charge for a certain size??

    Thanks,
    Mickem

I found it in a store at my local shops that sells radio controlled cars and planes etc (they seem to use it for modding thier RC vehicles). It comes in a4 sheets and they only charged about 20p a sheet, but I've seen it sold for more. the easiest answer s good old ebay though. Here for example someone is selling 10 sheets for a reasonable £5.
