I just wanted to know how much water I should mix with GW paints, and is there anything else I should add to the mix. Also what is the easiest way to clean an airbrush and what cleaners do you guys use. Thanks!
what type of airbrush? if it is the GW airbrush-lite... there is a great tutorial on youtube
YouTube - Spray Gun Demonstration
that should answer some of your Qs
Armies thus far....
The airbrush I have is a Badger Anthem 155 that I just got and haven't used yet. That video on the GW spray gun is cool, but what im looking for is how much paint to water for my brush? Like 50/50? Any help is appreciated since I am learning as I go. Also like on the video is water all I should spray through my airbrush when I am cleaning it?
I use acryllic thinners rather than water to thin my paints. The thinners i use are made by Tamiya. As for the mix ratio - thats a bit of trial and error really - you want the paint to be the consistency of milk and each paint will take different amounts of thinner or water to achieve that effect.
To clean my airbrush i either use Acryllic Thinners or Airbrush Cleaning Fluid.
I get my supplies from Models in Motion
