I hope you like it! ^^
Pretty cool but I can't help but feel this sort of project would have gone along much better with either eldar or dark eldar models.

Chaos Daemons: 1000 pts
Yeah I mean, technically since the tau probably represent japan IRL, from a fluff perspective it would make some sense. However, tau are clumsy, cowardly, and prefer to fight from afar, so that wouldn't really fit in with the shinobi style.
Eldar/Dark Eldar would fit in in a badass sort of sense, and orks would fit in a badass/comical sense depending on how you went about it.

*loses his tau monocle in his tau tea*
How dare you! Clumsy? Cowardly? Just because unlike the rest of you unrefined brutes enjoy dancing out in the open and call it bravery doesn't mean it actually is.
*fishes out his monocle, and wipes it off*
Really, the things barbarians say these days. And calling us clumsy too when we seem to be the only race that figured out that you could fly in more direction with a jetpack. The nerve...
This is a very good way to personalise your Tau and they look original. You have done a good job on making them look Shinobi-like. The paint jobs are good and it is interesting to see how you have put those bits and pieces to work on the Tau models. I'm not that informed on the Tau 'scout squads' but I imagine you may mean some kind of elite or fast attack that has pricey metal models. Using plastic bits is always fun to do these types in a personal way.
Shinobi is cool. I played Revenge of Shinobi when I was a teenager and crushed Neo-Zeed many times. The effect to me of these models does fit in very well with the Tau. They look like they are decended from a military group of olden days. Now that the Tau have entered a space age this group has adapted their method of combat to fit in with the Tau empire. Very cool and opponents will like to face characterful models.
i have no idea what shinobi is/are, but your tau look really cool, good job...and also, your english is horrible sorry i had to say it
chaos marines have the chaos gods on their side, but space marines have games workshop on theirs
thanks XD I know! lol
Thought they looked pretty good, so great job. If you don't have any formal classes on English, then your good enough that we can understand. Keep up the hard work dude.
And over there we have the labyrinth guards.
