    (vanguard) assault marines

I have the idea of making a new set of assaultmarines with the jumppack parts of these kits. links provided
    SD Destiny Gundam
    SD Strike Freedom gundam
    SD Freedom Gundam

    i'd like some c&c
about campatability, and size, because i don't know the exact size of these toys (the gundam ones) nor have i already found a source for these minies.

Il know, it will be somewhat costly. but i somehow like the style they have.

They will be too big it looks like but it would have been a cool conversion.

You could still use some of the parts buy your options will be limited.

I'm pretty sure those jetpacks are too big. However, you could try building them yourself with plasticard.

I would have to agree with the others here. Unless you can get some pics with a scale reference, your best bet would be to work in plasticard.

I agree with the above posters it does look too large. There are some intersting spryer wings from the necromunda range that, with some work, could make some gundam style vanguard marines.

Those wings are too big IMO.

I have found a pic of the sprues of that model here (click on the "Contents" link).

Since the box is 20.5cm long (and I guess the sprues have approximately the same lenght), as a rough estimate the wings should be at least 4cm long, the backpack will make them even longer.

I think they are way too big, you should could use plasticard (I think you can download paper templates for SD Gundam models which can help you).

Another alternative can be wings from the VOID Vasa Shuriken Guard (link) made by Scotia Grendel... 28mm scale hi-tech wings.

    Hope this helps!

Go to the relevant forum you wish to start the thread in, then go to new topic on the top left of that forum, that button starts the new thread for you.

If someone can find a good relevant link for the size issue, he will be repped.

So assuling it is 4 so CM long, it opens perspectives to a Tau Crisis suit conversion maybe?
