Im really loving the orks and their konverting!
This is my latest project, a looted sentinel which is now a deffdred.
The killa kan is for size comparison
The model is magnetised, so you can take the top off from the legs for easier transporting. Two of the arms will be permanently stuck on, but the flamer and back left arm (the one with the buzzsaw) are magnetised. So this means it will have weapon options, from 4 ccw's, to 2 ccwps and 2 flamers etc.
It is pretty much finished, except in these photos, its missing some gubbins that should be stuck to the front of the cockpit.
The only problem now is that im not sure what paint scheme to use

Is this for an army you already have? If so, you should probably make it match. Either way, I'd choose an IG paint scheme, paint the IG parts that way, then over-paint it with Ork motifs.
Either way, it looks fantastic!
No, i havnt painted my main army yet. I was experimenting with painting some ork boyz and a deffcopta catachan green and khaki like the normal IG troops, but not 100% sure about the look. Dont have access to them at the moment (coz on holidays atm) but will post them when i get home.
That is awesome konversion, 10 times better then my attempt at making a killa/deff dread for my orks. What ork klan you planning to go for? I play deth skullz(blue orks). I would maybe give your ork pilot some more armour at the top since deff dreads aren't opened topped.
But i am sure it wouldnt be problem if you left it the way it was. What about adding a nice orky face or symbol to the front it would really good.
I hope when you ever get time to see more progress on your orks.
Looking at it again, I'd probably add some saw-teeth to the armor in front of the Ork driver, and some steel claws to the feet of the Sentinel. Make it look rugged and patchy for that extra orkish feel.
Maybe even add a Waaagh! banner to the back of the vehicle, too.
this looks fantastic! great work. gotta make the paint job very orky, as the sentinal is a little smooth.
PM me about Aurora Prime Vassal fights! Willing and ready!
