Got a question about the color of the edge of the shoulderplates
I'd like to know what's best looking on SM Dark Angels:
-White lines like MasterBelial's avatar?
-Or green like in the codex?
I'd say green,
i imagine master belial's pic is a veteren,
as people tend to like making their veterens stand out abit (my veterens lower right legs are hawk turquoise, but i play the Aurora Chapter)(and looking through a WD i see that GW's DA's have green trim)
doesnt really matter though,
do what ever you like and maybe just call them one of the DA's secondary chapters (so you can still use their rulz but you can change the colour sheceme)
I'd use black, it looks a bit cooler than the same green IMO. The white is for veterans only I think.
I made them black, didn't like that the whole model was green...
But how do you highlight black???
And are you supposed to ink wash and highlight the bases???
Black is usually highlighted with Codex grey. You don't have to highlight the bases, just paint them in a suitable colour (goblin green is popular), then put some flock or sand (that's what I use) on it. Sometimes I put a corpse or a bodypart on the base as well, my dreadnought is crushing an eldar guardian with his foot for example
Ze titles yez...
When in doubt,
Smite.<SilverMane> I would trust BID with my life
