I'm looking for a source of horsebodies that are a bit smaller then the glade rider steeds for conversions. i know there is a list of producers at the top, but sifting through them is timeconsuming, so if anyone knows ? preferable plastics. and cheap
The best bare horses I have found are from Ebob, they have very nice poses and they not too expensive (6 horses cost £18.00 ). Unfortunately, they are made of white metal, not plastic.
They come in 28mm scale, but I can't tell if they are smaller than the Glade Guard ones.
You can find them here.
About plastic 28mm horses, check the American Civil War cavalry from Perry miniatures... they are very cheap (12 figures cost £12) but they have a western style saddle and harness (you can always file them away).
You can find a picture of the sprue here.
I could not find armored horses which fit your needs... both Ebob and Perry Miniatures have some armored horses, but they are made of metal and come with a rider (thus, the price is probably too high)... however, you can browse their site and see if you can find something you like.
I will update you if I can find anything else.
Hope this helps!
