So im sure many of you have seen this black magic they call NMM, and thought hey maybe i should try that.
Well i did and here is my first try!
Turned out ok, better than i thought it would.
There will be more, but i was also wondering if you people out there had some NMM stuff you'd like to show off, go ahead i don't mind we can feed off each other!
May i ask what nmm is and good painted model for a one piece
Oh my apologies i forget that people may not know what NMM is.
NMM or Non Metallic Metal, is a style of painting where you use no mettalic paints, and instead use regular paints.
greys for silver and lightbrowns(sometimes yellow in there) for gold.
glad you thought it looked alrght =D
Looks good mate! It's something i've never been bothered to try to be honest. But that is indeed looking cool. Can i get close up pics to see the paint job a bit better???
For a first try I must say that it looks pretty good. What I think you need to work on is the make the blending smoother (especially on the gold) and to go up to pure white on a few places on the steel.
it's very good for a first try man. On the bigger pic, the axe looked a bit like a stone sometimes but it's still good.
I haven't bothered with this method yet, I actually like metallics.
So have you heard about the NMMUM?
Its a very creditable first effort, and certainly a lot better than my recent attempt at NMM!
Keep it up- after seeing some of your other work I have no doubt you'll be able to crack it.
PLAN CLAN MAN!!
He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man- S. Johnson
Why is the miniature so glossy? Is that the paint you are using?
that looks very nice.. i love the shield.. mm i should try this method again
rep for you sir
