The force is shaping up really nicely! I'm used to seeing a huge amount of red vehicles, so your colour scheme for the Battlewagon is really refreshing. Perhaps the only thing I can suggest is to maybe darken up parts of the gold a bit, and highlight other (raised) parts with something like a gold/silver mix or whatever you people savvy at painting highlight gold with. It looks a tad dull/flat at the moment, but beyond that, really good stuff.
The lighting in the photos doesn't really give a good sense of depth in the wagon. The brown wash has done a good job of bringing out the highlights but you just can't see it in the pics.
Everything being orky I wanted it to look dirty (leave the pretty stuff to the eldar - the up side is that I managed to dull the gold down a bit - it looked much too bright before.
This front pic is a little better...
i like the battle wagon, looks dark angel'ish to me tho!
Nice job, rep.
I AM BOOMER!
Green and Gold are the Aussie national colors, Hoons are what you call guys who drive around in their cars at high speed in packs
That second pic does look a little bit better with the gold; the original pic of the battlewagon really made it out to be extremely bright and flat, but I understand how taking photos sometimes doesn't do a model justice.
Looking forward to seeing the rest of the force!
