Ah yes, blending: the bane of painting. Either you get it or you don't. I've been at it for four years now and I'm still trying to get it right. It's a love-hate relationship really.

As for guides, I looked mostly around on here using the search engine. I also went to another one of my favorite sites, Coolminiornot.com and went under the "articles" section. They have several blending tutorials to look through and I did find them a bit helpful.

Another site to consider is Dr. Faust's painting clinic. I'm absent-minded about the URL for it since I can't use my "favorites" anymore (laptop died!) while I'm on a different computer. You can google his site and I know he has some good tutorials in there.

I was extreme enough to actually purchase the Miniature Mentor dvd, the first one, since I was so bound and determined to learn how to do it. While it did go over the same content you'll find in a lot of places about blending, it was really cool to actually watch a masterclass painter do it themselves. While I'm not an advocate about Miniature Mentor, it was pretty helpful.

You can look on youtube as well, specifically for David's content that he's put up. It's some good stuff!

I hope this helped; feel free to inquire about anything else

    Forge World IMPERIAL ARMOUR BOOKS
First one on the list. Little pricey, but excellent, in my opinion.
