They'r fine ,use them
They are not on horses..
Hi everyone ,old news that Chaos was divided into seperate stand alone books. So I was left with my now obsolete unit of Flesh Hounds , so I decided to convert them to make hard hitting fast cavalry as whey were in the old book (Hordes of Chaos) . Marauder Horsemen of Khorne with flails!

It took quite some time to cut them up and form theyr arses ,etc. so that they could sit atop Flesh Hounds , but I'm happy with the result. (those were foot marauders originaly)
Now ,I brought them to a standart WYSIWYG tournament ,and to my surprise I was not allowed to use them , becouse "they aren't on horses" .(there were no conversion restrictions)
So what do you think ,was this fair , would you or your shop allow to use these conversions in a standart tournament?
Sounds like they're a bit too anal with their sticking to unit descriptions, if you ask me.
"Horsemen of Khorne have to be on horses, no matter what! :B"
I'd let you use these in an instant. They're a good conversion, and boatloads more interesting than plain old horses. I don't really see it being fair for them to deny you use of these conversions, just because they're not on horses. Only reason I can see if they wanted a really, really, REALLY WYSIWYG tourney, where because the unit name said horses, it needed to be horses.

I would definently let you use those where i go gameing converting is encouraged also nice conversion work.
I'ts good to see that other people see my point
They look fine IMO. Only problem I can see is a change of TLoS (Not sure if that is in Fantasy or not)
I know LoS - Line of sight , but what does the T stand for? Is it tracing line of sight ?
We have a 90degree arc of sight in fantasy (sometimes 360 )

I hope that when I show this thread to the tournament organizer ,he will see that he made a hasty and wrong decision which was ifluenced by the WAAC player who started this nonsence "they'r not on horses", and that this will not happen again in the future. Since we have only 1 hobby shop in the country..
They look pretty good, too! To me WYSIWIG is about removing any confusion. I don't see how your opponent could have tought that these models are anything except Marauder Horsemen.
Keep up fighting the good fight (and the good conversions)!
"How do you stop a Chaos Knight from charging? No seriously, HELP!" André le Bouffon, jester of the Bretonnian court - last words.
I'd let you use them. I mean wysiwig is supposed to be for things like using blokes with hand weapon and shield as flails or marauders as warriors or what have you. As long as you told your opponent at the start of the game "these are my converted Marauder horsemen" I can't see how anyone can not let you use them.
I've put Guardsmen on bikes to be my roughriders. People go "cool" rather than "you can't use them, they're not horses *snort* "
I like your conversions by the way, Keep at it
