Hey there guys. Basically I have some units in my armies that I dont think I will be using and am thinking of selling.
Basically I have 8x Silver Helms, 8x Genestealers, 1 Space Marine Terminator and 1 High Elf hero that are all undercoated black, exept the Genestealers. I was thinking of trying to sell all of this for $40 or so but I cant find anyone out there. My two warhammer friends dont want too either.
I also cant find any time to paint the models I actually DO include in my armies let alone these guys!
So I dont have an E-bay account and I thought going around asking random people at my hobby store would be weird, should I sell them if I'lle 85% not use them on the gaming table?
When given the option to sell or paint a miniature the choice for me is always the same: Paint! You'll find it quite refreshing to paint models when you don't have to worry about them looking like the rest of your playing army. As silentdeathz said this is a good chance to experiment with different styles and color patterns. After your done you can sell them on Ebay (you usually get more for them if they're painted) or just keep them for your collection.
its really up to you but personelly i think it wouldnt sell as its too much of different stuff from too many armies. If im not wron you have high elves, right if so keep that character cause you might want to go up in points. If not id paint them and sell them , it will catch more intrest from people.
Keep them, you never know when you might want to pull off a conversion that might require a pair genestealer claw arms, or the bulkY armour of a terminator or the graceful weapons of the hig elf. I've done lots conversions for painting comps from bits of random models just so I can try out new painting ideas or themes.
I AM BOOMER!
