The cloak looks exceptional although I would personally do a final highlight to finish it off. (That may look OTT however)
The wings really need a wash too and some highlights if you ask me. Especially the white
I personally believe one of the best things you could do is to come out of your comfort zone and try and minimalise dry brushing and instead try and learn new techniques for highlighting and eventually feathering/ wet blending.

The work is good. You could try a watered down red in the folds of the cloak. It will help to add more depth to it. A little bit of shading with grey in the white feathers of the wings will help them to show up and make them look more life-like. You could also colour in the eyes to make him more alive.
Well, i wanted to try that IMMENSLEY however when it came down to it, nothing worked. I tried normal highlighting but i couldnt get the right GW look out of it......My blending was horific to the point where it just looked like i washed it with white . So instead of taking the many fustrating hours to only possibly get it right i dicided to drybrush. Don't get me worng i WANT to blend and highlight the fact is the i cant do anything painting related without a video or someone teaching me, so in that respect im in trouble. As for the other suggestions will do! I will post pictures up later.
I only spent about 10-15 mins roughly (and would say its about 80% finished) and I tend to doddle about and get distracted when painting . If you are interested in seeing what I did let me know, if not I'll refrain from hijacking your thread.
The key to anything is simply to keep trying and improvement is simply a given if you do.
