Does anyone have any advice as to what can be used to make a cheap drop pod for some home games? ive seen the PVC version and the templates for building one out of foam core but i am looking for somthing that is already the same size as the model and can be converted to table top standards. Thanks for any help you guys can give.
I don't know of any models that could be converted per se. If you want to use existing GW plastics, be prepared to use your imagination and attach a bunch of different things togather, and if you want multiple pods, well, doing it this was is definitely "doing it the hard way" (tm).
My best offer is to try the Cities of Death scenery, but even then, be prepared to augment that stuff with plasticard. I'm afraid there's no short cut.
If its a home game you could use anything you like really. Even a piece of paper so...
get a can of coke, drink it, then paint it blue. a perfect drop pod
What are the dimensions of drop pods?
We have been using CD's.
