They're super glued and I want to repaint my guys. The problem is, I only paint my models when they're disassembled to make the paint job better (no use in re painting if the paintjob isn't going to be superb)
Do you guys have any ideas on how I can get my minis to get...unglued?
I heard dipping them in boiling water might work. Do you think it will? Hopefully they won't melt
Well, never tried the Boiling water but When i stripped the paint off some of my guys in Simple green the parts stuck with super glue seemed to all break off when I scrubed them all down, so if your planning on stripping your guys go for simple green and you may do two jobs at once.

A sufficiently high drop might do the trick...
A good way for superglue is just some bare hand force; start gentle and build up pressure until the glue snaps. Use blister sponges or a dry rag around more delicate parts of the model to avoid bruising damage to both your hands and model.
To get rid of the pain, the company 3M make the perfect paint stripper that even can be used on plastic models without fear. The name eludes me and but I remember it's a very large spray can that spouts some foaming chemical and basicall 'digests' the paint and allows you to simply rinse off your model after 10 minutes and the paint will just drop off. It was quite chemical and protective gear (like washing gloves and good ventilation) were needed but the thing works like a charm.
Perhaps some other paint remover like this will also do the trick?
if you painted your models before you put them together then you are in luck. i stripped some minis i had painted before assembling in Purple Power and when i went to take them out the paint where the pieces were glued was gone and the minis fell apart.
May the "Nurgley Goodness" protect you!
OK guys thanks
I just used simple green overnight...worked well
