I've already found some decent threads on Kustom-building PK's so you don't have to go out and buy them. I also bought a couple of Lightning Claws that I was thinking "should" be able to work as PK's for my old OOP Warbikers that I plan on running as Nob Bikers.
However, when looking at them today, it appears they're the same size or perhaps even larger than a regular PowerKlaw.
Is there any way to easily make or Kustomize a PK so it's a bit smaller for those tiny OOP Warbikers from ages ago?
And also, has anyone ever tried to convert a Lightning Claw into a PK?
This is actually one of the many projects I have started but have yet to complete. I too wanted to add a Power Claw to my old Ork biker. My customer claw was constructed from Tyranid claws and a hand that is a little bigger than the normal hand. I don't think the mis-matched hands looks that bad though. I have included pictures below from different angles that should help give an idea what it looks like.
That looks really nice!!
What did you use for the Glove/Hand part? I know I can use the Lightning claw's Claw parts...but I'm not 100% about the hand/glove....that's actually my main concern.
The glove/hand part if from the ogre sprues and its an iron fist. ALl the plastic ogre sets have this and they have claws and little points on them so dont really need to add as i think that biker hand is even to big for an ork.
Thanks. I received the glove & hand bits in a bag of random bits that I bought on ebay, so I'm not really sure where they came from. If p0lak says they come from an Ogre set I'll go with that. You can't really see the hand inside of the claw unless you really look closely so the size difference isn't that noticable.
