I'm no pro so I have no advice for stuff to improve on, but in my honest opinion you have really decent well painted models. Bigger pictures would be nice so I could see more detail.
I think your models are painted fantastically (especially your reds) I only have two things of input really: The first is that I feel like the chain of the chainswords should be painted silver, or maybe even gold to stand out from the body of the chainsword. Next is that I like the decapitated heads on the bases. But I wouldn't suggest having one on every base..
i wasnt sure about how to do them so i did a couple red and then one silver to see what it looked like. though i must say i do like the red so i might just do a mixture of them.
they were my last 4 heads and i do agree they get boring after a while. so there will be variations on the bases.
thanks for the input and i will attempting to sort some better pictures out tommorow so you can take a proper look at them.
Very nice. The base rim colour clashes on the khorne berserker models but thats unavoidable for coherency I guess.
Otherwise very cleanly painted and nicely highlighted.
Awesome stuff! I love the Daemon Prince.
They are all pretty good. The blue of the 1k Sons is good, but the sorcerer's sword has a harsh transition from dark to light. A wash or glaze might sort that out. The Berserkers look good, tho the occasional highlight is a bit too bright for me. I do agree that it might be a better idea to do their weapon casing in a different colour.
believe it or not i did put a glaze on after someone suggested it but it just seems to have made it darker so im thinking of just striping the sword and trying again or just wait and try it on my new thousand sons sorcerer and see if i can get the blend better
Looking good, i love the lava effect on the power fist. A bit too much drybrushing for Zema's taste, but nice, bright colors anyways!
Got a "good" rumour from a GW staffer? Forget about it, LO'ers know more than any random GW shop staffer.
