    Painting white

    Hey guys,

I'm considering making a pre-heresy Luna Wolves army, but I'm wondering how to go about painting white. I could wither basecoat black and progressively build up layers of grey to white, or I could basecoat white and use badab black wash in the recesses. What do you lot reckon?

Its a good guide to a decent looking white. In general you'll get a much better look if you go from grey to white, the grey will act for good shading as you layer it. It might be a good idea to look for other guides on like CMON and other painting sites. More information helps.

Well that's not really true, you can always do the same thing but use less layers. Then you speed up the paining. Its also possible to start from a Gray as Kuffy say (and also light brown or yellow/brown). Still a important thing when painting white is to get the colour clean.

A quick way to do it is to use just one colour for the shade then paint the hole area white, this will work for a hole army.
