Hey, does anyone know of any sites which tell you how to make a medieval castle gate? Hopefully with a draw bridge as well?
Also, I have carved out a moat, but I am not sure what to fill into the moat to make it look like water. I tried white glue, cause it turns transparent when it dries but I ended up using the whole bottle and not even covering 1 layer and creating a big mess on my floor.
Any help would be great guys!
a good way of making medevil gates and drawbridges is to you ice lolly sticks , break them at the top and bottom to give them that jagged edge look , the same with the draw bridge , and paint them scoarched brown with a heavy dry brush of bestiel brown . to fill your moat you should use a special kind of paint on varnish ( youl have to research it a bit ) i think its the citidel paint on varnish , and just layer it on , youll need alot of tubs of it . lots of layers , test it on something first so u dont make a mess . Peace out
