I'm looking for a decent female model to make into a Daemonhunters Inquisitor; she's going to be a radical, a psyker, and will be carrying a point-sink-tastic mastercrafted force weapon. This...
... is the kind of thing I'm going for, only in 40k scale. I'd like to stay away from the Sisters and Witch Hunters as much as possible, largely because those models are fairly distinctive in the world of 40k and their power armour is covered in little fleur de lysses that are a pain to file off. She's not likely to be going to any tournaments or anything so the model doesn't necessarily need to be tournament legal, just mystic and morally ambiguous, and maybe just a little bit sexy.
Any advice is welcome.
Mabey use a banshee body as the base, the only problem would be removing the head cleanly. But if you go down this road you must have imperial... thingies on her. I was going to buy the inquisitor model once untill I realised that she was inquisitor scale
Thanks for the replies - a lot of these are a bit more... "mad" than I was looking for, but I appreciate the advice. Rep inbound, sirs!
Hmm. Good question. Lets have a look see.
Err, she has the staff but the stance may be a pain to do. Plus need to slap armour on her.
On foot. Easy to convert the sword into a staff and a few armour plates over the robe and hey presto!
Just a few ideas befor looking to other model companies.
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
Maybe you could use one of the damoiselle on foot from the bretonian range. I'm especially thinking of this one:
just cut the top part of the staff, and maybe glue/pin a blade/servo-skull, and call it a null-rod! In her other hand she is handling the pommel of a sword, if need be.
Maybe try to take of all the fleur de lys to remove any conection to SoB, and here you are!
(you could easily model a holster on the one neer the sword handle)
