OK, my final vehicle is assembled and almost ready for painting. The looted Boomwagon. I had an old Leman Russ I was given, minus the instructions, so I just went about building it by guess work and trial and error. I wanted it to look rather damaged, and just the occasional patchwork. I have to do some work on the sponsons and main body in the form of damage, but otherwise its done and ready for painting.
Comments and criticism welcome as usual.
(PS. Follow the link in my sig for more Ork stuff and painting stuff)
Thanks guys. I think what I do need to do, looking at it and some of the comments I've had, is to add some stuff to the rear - its too empty.
Kuffy, you stumpy bearded Northerner.
Puncture a hole in that fuel canister and have a lovely sludgy mass of fuel seeping from it. And a snotling's arm reaching out of the engine turbine would be good.
The tracks need orkyfying (it IS a word damn it!). A few missing treads with tied together sections and some bolted repairs would work.
On top of those sponsons?... Nothing too fancy, maybe just some more scratches or gretchin holding on for dear life.
Looks good, I like it.
